I have been a student at this dojo for over 10 years. I started class thinking i would take for a while, while I enjoyed it and got something out of it. 10 years later I am still growing and learning and enjoying Sensei John McGonigle and his excellent classes. His approach is based in real life reaction attack scenarios and his classes reflect that while not losing the deep history and tradition of karate's Okinawan roots. I couldn't say enough good about this great school.

Nothing but great things to say about Sensei John and his wife Johanna. They are truly amazing people who care about what they do and the kids and young adults they instruct. Best decision I made for my daughter! Over the last year I have seen her grow into a self confident young girl! She loves going there and being part of it and she loves Sensei!
